Carlsbad Chamber - Facility Maintenance 
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Grounds keeping, light maintenance, and janitorial (this includes but not limited to changing light bulbs, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, washing windows, emptying trash, etc.)  at the Pecos River Village Conference Center (PRVCC) and Chamber of Commerce
  • Setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, etc. for meetings, conference, special events at the PRVCC – includes assisting customers and other staff persons as needed
  • Assistance with setting up and taking down Christmas on the Pecos displays and maintenance of displays
    • May be asked to assist with nightly maintenance run to ensure displays are working properly and/or on boat dock as needed
  • Cleaning and servicing of boat during Christmas on the Pecos and anytime requested
  • Delivery of brochures, maps, etc. to Chamber office and/or additional locations as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned 
Additional requirements/information
  • This is a non-exempt/hourly paid
  • Normal 40-hour workweek is expected with occasional evenings, early mornings, or weekend hours needed to cover events and activities
  • Employee must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Employee must have a valid driver’s license in order to operate Chamber of Commerce vehicle
  • In-house/on-the-job training will be provided
  • Must be able to operate all grounds keeping and janitorial equipment and small power tools
